More 510 Pyro Adventures!
In this video, I take a closer look at Jay DeFehr's 510-Pyro #510pyro, comparing it with my tried and true, Pyrocat-HD. I take a look at a few questions about this developer, and tackle the age old question: Are Alkaline based fixers okay to use with staining developers such as 510-Pyro. The film used for all the tests was 4x5 HP5. Here's a link to the scanned and inverted bleached negative: https://www.flickr.com/photos/6297434... Please also check out my Making 510-Pyro video: • Making 510 Pyro Film Developer I also want to share with you a blog on the use of Alkaline and Acidic based fixers with staining developers.
