Hello from Dubai! This week, I explored the striking contrasts of this dynamic city, from the serene desert landscapes to the bustling marina. Here’s a snapshot of what makes Dubai a fascinating destination. 🌵 Desert Safari Our adventure started with a six-hour desert tour, which we picked up on Groupon. It was a thrilling ride over the sand dunes at sunset, offering beautiful views and a fun attempt at sandboarding. It's incredible how the desert can be both exhilarating and peaceful at the same time. 🚤 Marina and Palm Jumeirah Tour Switching from the natural desert to Dubai's engineered beauty, we took a speedboat tour around the Marina and Palm Jumeirah. The architectural achievements here are hard to overlook, and seeing them from the water offers a unique perspective on the city’s development. 🖼️ The Dubai Frame Visiting the Dubai Frame allowed us to see the city from a unique vantage point, framing the old and new sides of Dubai in one view. It’s an interesting way to reflect on how much the city has changed over the years. 🏨 Stay at the Waldorf Astoria We wrapped up our trip with a stay at the Waldorf Astoria, which was as comfortable as it was elegant. While it’s definitely on the luxurious side, the real highlight was the quality of service and the attention to detail in every aspect of our stay.
