One of the most senior Japanese Generals of World War 2 was taken to the gallows for his execution at the hands of American officers. General Yamashita was known as 'The Tiger of Malaya' for his skilled actions during the war, and his command led to the biggest British military capitulation in History in Singapore. But he was responsible for soldiers who committed terrible war crimes and slaughter during the Second World War, and for this he was executed under the 'command principle.'
