A recipient of the Best New Artist award at the 2017 Cabo Verde Music Awards, Garcia’s recently released album Ecos de Mim (Echoes of Myself), was honored with the Album of the Year title at the 2024 Cabo Verde Music Awards, further cementing her status as a leading figure in Cabo Verdean music.
