Qué es la legítima en una herencia

In this video, we'll explain what a legitimate share is within an inheritance, and most importantly, how to calculate it. First of all, we must point out that a legitimate share is a portion of the inheritance that must necessarily go to specific people, regardless of what a will may state. That is, except in the case of a fair disinheritance, legitimate shares must always be honored. The person who is to receive the legitimate share is called a legitimate heir, and there are three types or cases of legitimate heirs: children, parents, and widowed spouses. The latter are not exactly legitimate heirs, but in practice, their share of the inheritance that they must receive actually functions as a legitimate heir.
