Bangkok's BTS Skytrain story goes back to the 1960s when they wanted solve Bangkok's traffic problems. They failed at this but eventually in 1999 the BTS Skytrain was opened. In between, several projects came and went, and in this video I cover the first monorail plan, the MTS Masterplan, Lavalin Skytrain and the infamous Hopewell Project. All these early project failures eventually made what we know today as the BTS Skytrain come to life. Enjoy!
