Fishing San Marcos Texas: Stokes Park/Thompson Island Dam

Fishing San Marcos Texas in Stokes park and Thomson Island dam. Using ultralight fishing gear we set out on a mission to fish this part of the river. We were able to catch some Panfish. In all, these spots are great to fish and are family-friendly in my opinion. Tubing access is limited but there is a lot of Kayaks at the time.
