"I almost cried when they left." This is about Instasamka and Moneyken. And that's when I experienced cognitive dissonance. Because I remember it very well: — scandals with makeup artists, — the apartment "robbery," — the green paint, — Mannequin's trashy interview, — Dubai, — the phrase "Russia is not our place," — and their entire previous image. But in "The Emperor's Treasures," we see completely different people: — a caring husband, — vulnerable Dasha, — conversations about family, — children, — parents, — respect for elders, — even the Russian anthem on the minibus. And at some point, I caught myself thinking: was that sincerity? or a very clever refinement of a new image? In this video: • recalling the entire background of Instasamka and Mannequin; • discussing their reputations before 2022; • analyzing how their public image has changed; • We're talking about "traditional values" and the new rhetoric of Russian celebrities; • And we're trying to figure out whether we saw the real Dasha and Oleg on the show or a highly polished television character.
