Helmholtz Free Energy in Thermodynamics | in HINDI

In this Physics video lecture in Hindi we explained and derived Helmholtz function or helmholtz free energy of a thermodynamic system. Helmholtz free energy and Gibbs free energy are two important thermodynamic potentials. By definition Helmholtz free energy is the internal energy of the system subtracted by the product of its temperature and entropy. F = U - TS. Its change gives us the maximum work done by a thermodynamic system. During the derivation of the equation for work done we found, the work done is maximum when the change is isothermal and reversible. W ≤ Fi - Ff.
