Incremental upgrade from the previous SoundLink. Don't worry if you own the previous version, the differences are very minor. Battery life is unchanged and gives a max of 8 hours, probably closer to 4-5 hours at louder listening levels. The new bi-fold cover is a mixed bag. Gives you a smaller footprint but that results in less stability.
