2026 Janda Baik Ultra - 30KM (Night)

📅 Race Date: Early 2026 🏃‍♂️ Event: 30.26KM Night Trail Race 🏔️ Total Elevation Gain: 1,330 meters ⏱️ Finish Time: Approx. 7 Hours Kicking off the 2026 racing season with a series of new milestones: my first official event in the Veteran category and my first-ever midnight trail run. With a 12:00 AM flag-off, navigating a 30km course through the night presented a unique mental and physical challenge. Interestingly, the pitch darkness served as a psychological advantage—by obscuring the scale of the upcoming climbs, it forced a strict focus on immediate pacing and foot placement, keeping my mind calm through the toughest sections. Despite the relentless ascents and demanding descents, it was an incredibly rewarding experience. I am deeply grateful for a safe finish, the invaluable perspective gained on the trail, and the phenomenal support from family and friends.
