Maynard Miner
A pioneer of Shotokan Karate in the United States, Maynard Miner helped lay the foundations of Shotokan Karate in the US. His many students include George Cofield, John Mullin, and others. Like many of his generation, he learned Karate in postwar Japan in the 1950s.
