My first drum clinic?!

Hello friends! I've been a little scarce this year so far and this was partly why. Last Saturday afternoon heralded only the most terrifying new drum-related thing I've embarked on to date, in which I attempted to put a storytelling-type spin on a clinic (instead the usual topical variety) and just shared some thoughts alongside a narration of how I became a drummer. Grateful for the very much unexpected opportunity and also for everyone who came down to be a part of it. The mega supportive audience totally made my day! Thanks to The Drummer Community and *SCAPE for organizing this event! 0:00 Post-clinic reflections 3:43 Opening song: Sangriento - Bigger World 4:48 Introduction 6:12 Playing with other musicians 7:26 Speed vs dynamics 8:47 On Technique 10:11 Ghost notes 11:30 Keeping the pocket 12:23 Enjoying the music 13:35 Starting to learn prog 14:35 Learning songs by ear 16:40 Odd time songs 17:15 Progress on impossible things 20:14 Dance of Eternity (ending) 21:05 Original songwriting 22:50 Efficient Public Transport - Eden 27:45 Ending stuff!
