Come arrivare dal centro di Atene verso l'aeroporto -e viceversa-

In this video, I show you how to get from central Athens—and here, from Dimotiko Theatre Square in the Piraeus area—to the airport by taking Metro Line 3. Of course, the reverse is also true—from the airport to Athens city center. A metro ticket costs 9 euros each way. Alternatively, there's a tourist ticket, valid for 3 days for 20 euros, which allows you to use all public transportation—metro, tram, and bus—in Athens, as well as two metro rides to and from the airport (one return trip). In addition to Metro Line 3, there are buses marked with an "X" specifically for departures to and from the airport, which cost €6 each way. The buses are: X95: from the airport to Syntagma Square—the city's vibrant center—and vice versa; X96: from the airport to the Port of Piraeus and vice versa, very convenient for those who then need to take a ferry to the islands; X93: from the airport to the Kifissos Bus Station and vice versa; X97: from the airport to the Elleniko-Dafni Metro Station and vice versa. Finally, there are also other types of tourist tickets that allow you to take all public transport WITHIN the city perimeter and therefore do not include the price of the return airport ticket, including the very convenient 5-day ticket for €8.20.
