In this video, I'll teach you, step by step, how to export the file from your Straumann Sirios scanner to send to the lab or wherever you want. 🦷📤 The Sirios software is very similar to Virtuo Vivo (basically the logo changes from S to V and there are some options), but there are several ways to export the file, and many people end up not knowing which one to use in each situation. In this video, I break down ALL the options: THE 3 EXPORT OPTIONS AT THE END OF THE CASE: ▸ Straumann Access: Straumann's official cloud (currently UNLIMITED and FREE, works like iCloud or Google Drive) ▸ Keras Connect: Straumann group platform to send directly to the registered lab ▸ Local: saves to the computer's default folder (not my favorite because it gathers everything together) THROUGH THE 3 DOTS (MORE FLEXIBLE): ▸ Export .exorder (Straumann's proprietary format) ▸ HOT TIP: if you don't have Straumann software, rename the .exorder file to .rar and it will become a zipped file that you can open normally ▸ Export PLY (file with texture and color) ▸ Export STL (the universal format that every lab uses) CASE MANAGEMENT (when available) (MANY cases): Shows how to search for a patient by name and export their history without having to reopen the entire case. IMPORTANT WARNING: If Straumann Access or Keras Connect does not appear as an option during export, it may be due to instability on Straumann's servers. In this case, use the offline options (.exorder, PLY, or STL) and send it later.
