This walk covers key features along the route, including historic bridges, Dingle Reservoir, and the remains of the old steam crane site. Along the way we encounter magnet fishers, motorbikes using the towpath, and plenty of signs of how this abandoned canal continues to evolve. The walk takes us right up to the fencing at the current restoration works — giving a close look at where progress is happening on this long‑awaited project.
