Transalp XL750 – 16,000 Mile Review | Why I’m Selling It

After 16,000 miles of real-world ownership, this is my honest long-term review of the Honda Transalp XL750. This isn’t a first-ride impression or a spec-sheet rundown. It’s a reflection on living with the bike day to day — how it’s performed, what’s stood out, and what it’s actually like to own over time. The Transalp has proven itself to be a genuinely excellent all-rounder: dependable, capable, and easy to live with. Nothing here has let me down. So why am I selling it? This video explains that decision calmly and honestly — not because the bike fell short, but because my life and riding have shifted. Phoenix, my Vespa GTS, now sits at the centre of that change. If you’re considering a Transalp, or just interested in long-term ownership beyond the honeymoon period, I hope this helps. The Captain will be returned to HGB Motorcycles for its next owner when the time comes. HGB Website : https://www.hgbmotorcycles.co.uk Thanks for watching. Music (c) original artists listed below.
