Fishing Strand Reefs and Beach for Kobbies 22/10/2022. Jeandre catching his PB Reef Kobbie.

We started at 3h30 Saterdag morning fishing from the beach in Melkbaai Strand, 2 Spotties and a few smaller sharks was landed and then we decided to hit the reefs. Jeandre was on the money and landed his first size Kob of 5.96kg well done he's been working hard and it paid off. We moved around landing a few smaller Kobbies (all released) then we went to the Beach and I finally found a size Kob around 17h00 weighing 5.7kg with a total length of 86cm. Assassin Horizon Zero 14ft 3-5oz with 8000 Saragosa did the job on the reefs and I was lucky to get the Kob on my Assassin Championship 5 with 14000 gosa and 40lb braid. . 75 Maxima leader . 65 hook trace 9.0 Circle Hook with dangle Bait used chokka with occy leg mix.
