Case Information 1: On the morning of September 12, 2021, after 40 hours of evading capture, Nguyen Manh Linh (born in 1991, residing in Madagui town, Da Huoai district, Lam Dong province) was apprehended by police while hiding in a durian orchard watchman's hut. Nguyen Manh Linh used a motorcycle to transport To Vu Tuan (born in 1992, residing in Da Kia commune, Bu Gia Map district, Binh Phuoc province) through forest roads to bypass the checkpoint at Chuoi Pass (Da Huoai district), transporting nearly 1kg of various drugs and 709 ecstasy pills to Bao Loc City for distribution. This is the largest illegal drug trafficking and storage case to date discovered and seized by the Da Huoai District Police. Case Information 2: From mid-April to around May 2021, the drug enforcement force of the Lao Cai Provincial Police obtained information about a group of individuals in Ta Ngai Cho commune, Muong Khuong district, and Sin Cheng commune, Si Ma Cai district, suspected of colluding with individuals in Laos and individuals in China to form a transnational drug trafficking and transportation ring. Aware of this situation, the leaders of the Criminal Investigation Department on Drug Crimes, Lao Cai Provincial Police, dispatched reconnaissance forces to the areas to verify the identities, backgrounds, and residential characteristics of the suspects.
