This client's 2014 S550 needed a new engine. A replacement engine from the factory wasn't a financially viable option. There's not a huge used engine market for Mercedes-Benz and there wasn't a reasonable used w222 engine available. The client decided to pick up a low mileage engine from a 2014 SL550. This time lapse is swapping all of the components necessary to make the SL550 engine fit in the S550. I also recently replaced the water pump, thermostat, turbo coolant lines, belt, tensioner, and idler pulleys. I swapped all of those components onto the SL engine also.
