Pistol "Break-In" Period? Nonsense!
A high quality pistol, made with high quality components, should never need a "break-in" period at all. Firing 500 rounds through the new pistol for a "break-in" period is different than firing 100 rounds of your carry load through to ensure that the pistol will function properly with that particular carry load.
