Galaxy Watch 7 Review | Is It Worth It?

While it may look similar to last year's Watch 6, the Watch 7 features a much more powerful processor and more accurate health tracking with personalized AI wellness tips. I have the 40mm cream version, which looks more gray than cream but still appealing. On my 8.5” wrist, the small/medium band fits well, though the free fabric band from pre-order is more comfortable despite getting dirty quickly. The watch is slightly thicker and heavier than the Watch 6 but remains comfortable. The display is a 1.3” super AMOLED screen with 432x432 resolution and 2000 nits brightness, perfect for outdoor use. It has 2 GB of RAM and doubles the storage to 32 GB. The major upgrade is the 3nm Exynos W1000 processor, making the Watch 7 three times faster than its predecessor. Google Assistant works faster but may drain the battery quickly, and a bug with the Google Play Store running in the background can also affect battery life. The Galaxy Watch 7 offers improved health tracking with a BioActive Sensor, FDA-approved sleep apnea detection, skin temperature, and snoring detection. New features include energy scores and Dual Frequency GPS for precise location tracking. Battery life remains similar to the Watch 6, with around 28 hours of usage with all features enabled. Charging takes about 1.5 hours, but wireless power-sharing is no longer available.
