NGUMBAU HERO By Franklin Mutumba Mung'ala Secondary School

This is a heroic story of a young boy [Muia] denied his basic rights by his mother who is a teacher [Mrs.Richard. He has been caged like a helpless dog from his childhood and knows few or even nothing about childhood games and friends, until he is met by a courageous young girl who is unmoved or unshaken by threats catapulted her way by his brutal and unloving mother. She makes bold moves with the help of her friends [Mwikali and Mumbua] to champion the rights of the young man. The make their school the ultimate battle ground to fight the injustice and leads to expulsion from the school and a break from their studies. That doesn’t stop them and they proceed to introduce the kid to fellow friends at church, although it leads to near death incident, it propels the young boy to higher heights.
