TCN COMMISSIONS 330kV TURN-IN TURN- OUT LINES IN EDO STATE TO BOOST POWER EVACUATION

TCN Commissions 330kV Turn-In Turn-Out Tranmissoon Line in Edo State The Transmission Company of Nigeria has commissioned the newly constructed Ihovbor/Benin and Ihovbor/Ajaokuta 330kV Turn-In Turn-Out transmission line to strengthen power evacuation and grid stability in the region. MD/CEO Engr. Sule A. Abdulaziz performed the commissioning today, 14 May 2026, at the Ihovbor Transmission Substation, Edo State. The project will enable TCN to efficiently evacuate power from the Azura Power Plant and Niger Delta Power Holding Company, improve bulk electricity wheeling across the country, and enhance the resilience of the national grid. #tcnnigeria #electricity #projectcommissioning
