Children of Time: A new favorite sci-fi read!

Children of Time is the first book of a trilogy from Adrian Tchaikovsky that won the Arthur C. Clarke award for Science Fiction in 2016. And, more importantly, joins the pantheon of all-time favourite sci-fi reads for me. The centuries fly by, but brace yourself for a millennia of spider content.
