Service-Connected Benefits: Claims, Legacy Appeals, & New Appellate Process | 2019 Veterans Law CLE
• Maura J. Clancy, Chisholm, Chisholm & Kilpatrick, focusing on VA benefits and appeals Maura J. Clancy earned her J.D. from Roger Williams University School of Law in 2014, graduating magna cum laude. After clerking and then practicing personal injury and family law, Ms. Clancy joined CCK and began focusing on veterans appeals. She has studied the new appellate system, which went into effect in February of this year, and she will be sharing her research and valuable tips for both the legacy process and the new appellate process with us today. Ms. Clancy was one of the first to reach out about this event, before it even really took flight. She expressed particular interest in being a part of the training for tribal veterans service officers, so I am excited to offer her a chance to teach us, including the TVSOs and TVRs here today, and give all of you a chance to learn from her.
