1939 (WW2) Bren Gun Carrier - First In New Zealand
Bruce Cameron, a member of the New Zealand Military Vehicle Club talks about his Thornycroft-built Bren Gun Carrier during the Wings Over Wairarapa airshow held at Hood Aerodrome, Masterton, New Zealand. In 1939 this was one of six similar carriers which were brought to New Zealand to become the nucleus of the New Zealand Army's armoured vehicle force. -- http://www.aviationfilm.com Copyright © 2016 Historical Aviation Film Unit This video material may not be reproduced in any form (except on other websites as an unedited embedded video which links back to to this YouTube master), without the written permission of the Historical Aviation Film Unit.
