Mar del Sud a Miramar 21k en Buenos Aires: Desafiando el viento bajo un increíble atardecer

As a child, we went on vacation to Miramar several times, and one of the beaches we chose to spend the day at was Mar del Sud. We stopped going there eventually, but I always had beautiful memories of that whole area. When I found out there was a half marathon that connected Mar del Sud with Miramar, I didn't hesitate. I got in the car and headed there to enjoy running through those incredible places and walking again along the streets I used to run as a kid. It's a really beautiful race that starts in the center of Mar del Sud, where before hitting the main road, you do a few loops to gain some distance and arrive in the center of Miramar with exactly 21k! The race doesn't take place on the sea, nor do you see it, except at the starting line, but it does invite you to explore the beautiful fields and forests along the route that connects the two towns! The race usually starts off a bit warm, but in this area, as night approaches, the temperature drops considerably, and it's not usually a big problem. The most challenging aspect is the wind. When you encounter a strong headwind, as was the case here (and from what I've heard, that's quite common), the 21k becomes tough in sections. But the great atmosphere, the beautiful scenery, and the incredible sunset that accompanied us during the final stretch of the race made every effort worthwhile.
