Back in the Day - The Story of Mafia Money Records (Part Two)
This is part two in my series of videos on an independent record label I owned in the 90s called Mafia Money Records. It was based in Madison, Wisconsin, and existed from 1994-2000. Though the bands' sounds varied quite a bit, in general, you could say what I released was indie rock. If you know and/or like the kind of stuff I generally talk about, you'll have some idea what to expect. For this video, I give you an abbreviated listening to the first full length album from both the label and the band, Hugh. It was called 'You Are Here,' and was released in May 1995. Let me know what you think. Thanks. Part three coming shortly... The first video in the series can be seen here: • Back in the Day - The Story of Mafia Money... The podcast episode I referenced in the video can be found here: http://thedarkstuff.podomatic.com/ent... You can find music from Dave Rosenheim's current project, Winchester Revival, here: http://winchesterrevival.bandcamp.com
