Giraffe Experience at Werribee Zoo - Must do!

An incredibe experience at Werribee Zoo. The weather was not on our side but that didn't stop us venturing out to Werribee Zoo to get up close to not 1, not 2 but 6 male giraffes. We boarded a premium Safari bus and drove through some of the other animals to get to the main Savannah. We met our Giraffe Keepers who were being befriended by an ostrich. They told us that the Giraffe;s were being a little mischeivious today and therefore we would start on the Savanah and bring them in got lunch. This was such a unique opportunity to be so close to the Giraffe as they walked alongside us. Once we had them on their way we continued to their housing enclosure area. We got to prep their food and learn all about them. This is a great day out and a little icing on the cake for a special occasion. (My 40th on this visit!). Zoo Members do get an additional discount.
