For example, there are patients who have the hobby of running in the park" The impact of climate change and pollution "That the landscape of allergies has changed a little due to global warming, because the flowering calendar of plants has changed" Ambrosia, the plant responsible for allergies "The plant has existed in Romania for a very long time. I remember, strictly anecdotally, that many people appreciate it for its appearance and our patients often go to admire this plant and realize that, when they take a few pictures or even smell it, these allergies can be triggered" Differentiating between viruses and allergies "By comparison, viruses are characterized by nasal itching, altered general condition, sometimes with a more severe stuffy nose, which does not respond so well to nasal decongestants" How to treat allergies "From the very beginning, there are three levels. The first is the one I mentioned previously: avoiding the allergen, which becomes almost impossible in the current context of our lives and the way we carry out our activities. Then there is the symptomatic treatment, which is also the most used, and here I am referring to topical anti-inflammatories" Pets and allergies "There are many animal lovers who live with kittens or puppies in the house. They get tested for allergies, find out that they have an allergy to the epithelium or to cat hair or dog" House dust "Some patients have an allergy to house dust, which is confirmed by allergy testing."
