[설악산 서북능선]한계령-귀때기청봉-장수대 / 12.5km, 11시간 산행 / 공룡급으로 힘듭니다 /

This video shows the descent from Hangyeryeong Pass to Jangsu-daero, crossing Gwitaegicheongbong Peak on May 17th (previously, it was a summary of the Gwitaegicheongbong azalea hike). The total distance is 12.5km, which is short, but the approximately 4km section from Gwitaegi to Peak 1408 is incredibly steep. Please keep this in mind. To tackle the northwestern ridge, you must arrive at the summit of Gwitaegicheongbong Peak around 10:00 AM. It takes about three hours or more to reach the summit of Peak 1408 from the summit of Gwitaegicheongbong Peak. From Peak 1408 Peak to Daeseungnyeong Pass, there are tedious sections with frequent ups and downs. The difficulty level is similar to the section from Hangyeryeong Pass to Hangyeryeong Junction. The descent from Daeseungnyeong Pass to Jangsu-daero is the easiest and best route along this northwestern ridge trail. However, it still takes about two hours to descend. The total hiking time is 11 hours, depending on your level. Some people say it takes 9 hours, others say it takes 14 hours.
