Because I'm consciously relaxing my body and focusing on lever-on, my shoulder stiffness isn't as bad as it used to be, but recently my lower back has started to hurt. It's a normal symptom if you spend all day sitting. Amidst all this, today's (March 27th) Shinkansen return trip was delayed, putting me in a situation where "at worst, I might have to stand all the way back to Tokyo." I headed to the platform aiming for the unreserved seats on the earliest Shinkansen I could catch, and to my surprise, I managed to secure a seat easily! ...However, a ton of people boarded at the next station, and the number of people standing in the aisles increased, quickly making it a packed train. In front of me was a man in a suit. He had a tall can of Hyoketsu (a type of alcoholic beverage) in his hand. After another station, his face turned bright red, and he seemed quite drunk. He refused to move from the person sitting next to me in the aisle seat of the three-seater, who was trying to get off, and I felt utterly exhausted watching him grumble and complain while drinking his canned alcohol. Finally, he plopped down in the empty seat next to him and started on his second can. It's fine that he was loudly discussing work with a subordinate or someone else who was also on the train, but the man was spitting everywhere. In the end, I was utterly exhausted after two stations of loud conversation with him, with me right in the middle. That's when I turn to Smart Slot Oki Doki!
