Springsure to Nuga Nuga National Park. 2026/22

We start off in Springsure, free camping at Virgin Rock, where the Virgin Mary looked over us. We found some walks and stunning old volcanic rock formations in the area before moving camp to Stirling Range Cutting. This place is amazing! Chinese labour used to hand cut through the range for Cobb & Co! We battle with overcast days and our power gets the lowest it has ever been, but thankfully the sun comes out saving us from needing a caravan park. We complete this episode at Nuga Nuga National Park, where we find lots of wildlife and relax by the fire with the most beautiful sunset.
