Hello everyone. After a night shift, there's nothing better than a walk in the woods. Instead of heading straight home, I decided to visit a few familiar pine spots in the area. The morning was chilly, but it smelled fresh – pine needles, damp earth, and that peace that can only be found among the trees. After just a few minutes, I knew this was going to be a successful trip. Right at the start, I came across some late water lilies, accompanied by a single saffron milk cap, growing among the mixed thickets. As I entered the pine forests, familiar brown caps began to appear under my feet – brown bay boletes, exceptionally plump and healthy this year, and I collected exactly 70 of them. Among them, slightly more modest but equally beautiful, four hare boletes. Deeper in the forest, among the moss and dry needles, I spotted the first geese – both green and misshapen – in whole flocks, as if waiting for someone to notice them. In total, I collected 64 misshapen geese and 5 green geese. I also spotted three boletes, two butter mushrooms, and even a single chanterelle – symbolic, but always pleasing. But it wasn't just about the mushrooms.
