A trip to South Africa December 1990.

I flew out to Johannesburg to meet my elder brother and his family, who drove up from their home in Durban. We spent a couple of days sight seeing, visiting Pretoria etc. While there we visited railway related places too. It was ironic that all the locomotives that we saw in Millsite shed would feature in the 1991 Brush with Steam tour I did in July and August the following year. When we arrived back in Durban via Swaziland, we watched class 24 number 3606 haul The Strelitzia from Durban to Kelso. This one of several uploads to come of my trips to South Africa.
