There is a difference between taking a reckless risk and taking a faith-filled risk. Reckless decisions are driven by emotions, pride, or impatience, while godly risks are guided by prayer, wisdom, and the leading of the Holy Spirit. God will never lead you into something that contradicts His Word or put you in trouble, but He may lead you beyond your comfort zone to accomplish His purpose. Sometimes, fear is the greatest obstacle to God's blessings. Fear of failure, rejection, criticism, or the unknown has kept many people from accepting the opportunities God placed before them. They remain in the same place, not because God has forgotten them, but because they are unwilling to move when He says, "Go."
