Anxiety on Purpose: My Anxiety ALMOST got the best of me today

Episode 2 of my Anxiety on Purpose Series. Yesterday I hyped myself up to spend the day at the park. I had the plan, the energy, the intention. But when I woke up? I didn’t feel it at all. My anxiety was trying to trick me int staying home — and that’s part of my pattern. Instead of giving in, I decided to take it one small step at a time. First, I got up. Then I opened the curtains. Then I made a smoothie. Each step was tiny, but together they shifted my mood. Slowly, I went from resistance to momentum… until I did a complete 180.
