Hello everyone, welcome to this video where I'll tell you the story of the famous apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima, one of the most significant Marian events of the 20th century. It all began on May 13, 1917, when three shepherd children—Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta—were tending their flock in a place called Cova da Iria, in Portugal. That day, caught in a storm, they took shelter under a tree and suddenly saw a white light from which emerged a woman dressed in white with a rosary in her hands. It was the Virgin Mary, who appeared to them with a very special message. The Virgin asked them to return on the 13th of each month for six consecutive months to receive important messages for humanity. And so it was: they had a total of six official apparitions between May and October 1917. During these apparitions, Our Lady of Fatima urged them to: Pray the Rosary for peace in the world, especially in times of war. Practice penance and sacrifice for the conversion of sinners. She referred to three secrets or revelations that would later have a great impact, including visions of hell, messages about the consecration of Russia, and predictions of world conflicts. On October 13, 1917, thousands of people witnessed the so-called "Miracle of the Sun," where the sun appeared to dance in the sky, confirming the authenticity of the apparitions. Sadly, two of the children, Francisco and Jacinta, died young, becoming examples of holiness and sacrifice. Today, Fatima is a place of pilgrimage and hope, where millions of people come to pray and renew their faith, inspired by these extraordinary events.
