Dark Urge x Astarion romance ending | Is this the worst outcome?

Correction: Astarion's outcome doesn't affect the answer you get from him. He could be a spawn or an ascendant (or even if you haven't finished his questline) and he will give you this piece of dialogue. There are many endings you can have with your romance interest but how about one where you never get to say anything to them? No plans together, not even able to break up, get angry, be happy, nothing. Just lose each other forever? I hated this ending. Yes I sacrificed Gale to move along faster and I hated that too. Yes I cried for sacrificing pixel wizard man, sue me. I hated that the last thing I saw of Astarion was him running away from the sun. No closure whatsoever, no romance ending scene. You do get to see Karlach's ending in the end. You can still go with her, or see her die if you chose to kill yourself.
