I explored sound shaping in Kontrast through a stroboscopic, zoetrope-inspired approach. Using a very fast LFO, I fine-tuned the modulation rate until it phase-locked with trajectory parameters such as Circle, Rotation, Phase, Amount, Ratio, and Rose shapes. When alignment occurs, the modulation no longer reads as motion but as structure, effectively transforming time-based modulation into a stable, repeatable timbral form.
