Donkey Kong Jungle Beat Playthrough Part 3

In this part, we complete the Cherry Kingdom, Peach Kingdom, Melon Kingdom, and Durian Kingdom. Sorry for taking a while with the Durian Kingdom. We also face the Cactus King. These are the stages shown in this part: Cherry Kingdom - Aurora Glacier: I really like the design of this stage. It's a pretty easy stage, but it's fun. Also, the ice gimmick isn't annoying at all. Cherry Kingdom - Grim Volcano: Lava actually isn't too big of a deal in this level because it's easy to jump over. And the stage definitely lives up to its title.. there's a dancing panda! Oh wait.. Cherry Kingdom - VS. Hard Roc: Well, THIS creature lives up to its title, because it's the hardest Roc out of the four, in my opinion, but that's not really saying much. It has the same weakness, which is its egg. After enough hits, it'll start to attack much more quickly. After the egg is shattered, it'll blow up, killing Hard Roc. Peach Kingdom - Arctic Plunge: Yep, you're swimming in water of subzero temperatures throughout this stage, but it doesn't matter to Donkey Kong, King of the Jungle! Like every ice stage in this game, it's quite fun. It's also pretty good for an underwater level. Peach Kingdom - Ancient Foundry: This stage relies on you using slabs of rock to progress through the stage. Precision is the key here. Peach Kingdom - VS. Torch Tusk: Torch Tusk has the same weaknesses as the other Tusks, but this one's projectiles can release a stream of flames. It also, like Grave Tusk, has a laser attack when low on health. A few pineapples will destroy it. Melon Kingdom - Iguanagon's Realm: Remember Iguanagon from earlier? Well, this time, its minions are out to get you. Riding Hoofer, you have to toss pineapples at the enemies, along with Iguanagon. After defeating Iguanagon, you'll get 100 extra Beats. Melon Kingdom - Banshee Swamp: I like the spooky atmosphere of this stage. Blue fiireballs are very dangerous here. The Helibirds can help you get through the stage. Melon Kingdom - VS. Bloat-Hog: This Hog attacks like the other ones, but when low on health, it will release electricity, trying to hit Donkey Kong. After a few coconuts and pounding to the face, Bloat-Hog will be defeated. Durian Kingdom - Battle for Storm Hill: This is definitely one of my favorite stages in the game. Its buildup is good, it's a lengthy stage for this game, and it introduces a bunch of new enemies. It's also a pretty tough stage. Durian Kingdom - Aerie Fortress: A bit of this stage takes place in water, and it has Helibirds for you to ride. The stage is a bit shorter than the last, but can be tough. Durian Kingdom - VS. Ninja Kong: Ninja Kong is pretty easy compared to Karate Kong. You need to time your dodges and counters to take him down easily. When he's low on HP, you have to dodge his first move, try to hit him, jump over his kick, try to hit again, then dodge once more. Doing this, you can get a lot of hits on him. Keep doing this until he's defeated. VS. Cactus King: The final boss of the game? No, not really. After a short stage, you'll battle the Cactus King, who is pathetically easy. To damage the Cactus King, you need to do a clap near his head. When this happens, a series of events can happen, usually Donkey Kong tossing Cactus King and stunning him. You can also get into a clash (similar to the Kong fights), where you have to avoid his attacks and counter when you get the chance. You can keep grabbing on to his head after he gets up to defeat him very easily. After enough hits, the Cactus King will be defeated.
