WGC Uvalde 2024 - Uys Jonker - Jonker Sailplanes

Uys Jonker of Jonker Sailplanes talks about the company and their sailplanes. It was very generous of him to take the time for this interview. He was in the glider and flying on a contest flight less than 5 minutes after the interview. Thank you Uys! Here at the 38th FAI World Gliding Championship in Uvalde, in the 18m Class, 22 of the sailplanes (out of 32) are JS sailplanes (21 JS3, and one JS1-18). In the Open Class, 11 of the sailplanes (out of 17) are JS sailplanes (4 JS5 and 7 JS1-21). Interviewer: Paul Remde (I accidentally mispronounced his name. I put an "s" on the end of his last name.
