Compassion Experience | World Poverty | Learning About Compassion

Hello Fellow Adventurers!! In this vlog, Zoe and her friend Morgan, venture with Beth to the Compassion Experience where they learn about world poverty and compassion to help other children through sponsorship. Nearly 1/2 of the world’s population — more than 3 billion people — live on less than $2.50 a day. More than 1.3 billion live in extreme poverty — less than $1.25 a day. And, 1 billion children worldwide are living in poverty. According to UNICEF, 22,000 children die each day due to poverty. Compassion International is the world's leading authority in holistic child development through sponsorship. Through its child sponsorship program, Compassion tackles global poverty one child at a time, serving more than 1.9 million children in 25 of the world's poorest countries. Walking through two simulations, Zoe, Morgan and Beth learn about Jey from Kenya and Yannelly from the Dominican Republic, whose lives were changed through sponsorship.
