Golden is Problematic... and That's a Good Thing
This is just my take on the popularity of "Golden" over the final song, "This is What it Sounds Like". As it is my understanding that Golden was framed as the "Problem" Rumi had to solve, but instead it was so catchy that it overpowered the Final song. This was a fun study on K-pop Demon Hunters (and their philosophies), the power of catchy music, and Rumi's character arc. I hope you found this video essay on Golden interesting too! If you do, do let me know your thoughts on the matter. I'm excited to hear them! Also, I hope ya'll had a good chuckle on the ending parody version of "Golden" called "Soil/Dirt".😁🦫 You can find more of my film video essays on my Film Critique Playlist: • Film Critique Playlist #kpopdemonhunters #videoessay #filmanalysis
