Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute has had its 2nd season CONFIRMED! And of course, I couldn't help but bring you what we'll see next in the series. For those unfamiliar with the story of Kage no Jitsuryokusha, the anime portrays the story of Cid Kagenou, who, after training so much, suddenly ends up being run over by a truck. Great heroes and diabolical villains are the types of characters people aspire to be – but not Cid Kagenou. He wants to become the true mastermind behind everything, pulling the strings and letting his machinations drive the entire story. In his previous life in modern Japan, he failed to achieve his goals. But now, reborn in a world of magic, he will show the true eminence of the shadows! As Cid pretends to be just another ordinary mafia character, he recruits members for his (fake) organization, Shadow Garden, with the goal of taking down the mysterious cult that lurks in the shadows. With many improvisations, Cid leads his (fake) organization against the disgusting (yet surprisingly real) Diablos Cult. Cid is the founder of the Shadow Garden, whose main objective is to stop the Diablos Cult and prevent them from resurrecting the ancient demon, Aurora.
