In a case where initial suspicion had centered on the mother, Gasiya Khatoon, police investigations have now revealed that the true culprit behind this entire tragedy was a neighbor named Aamir. According to the police, 19-year-old Aamir wanted to marry the woman in order to usurp her land. However, when Gasiya Khatoon refused, he first physically assaulted the woman and the children on May 2. After the woman lost consciousness, the accused murdered all four children—Shafiq (14), Saud (12), Umar (10), and Sadia (8). Subsequently, when the woman regained consciousness and attempted to resist, the accused murdered her as well. He then dragged the woman's body for approximately 200 meters and dumped it into a drain, intending to make it appear as though the mother herself was the killer of her children.
