This is more than a tribute—it is a love letter from a mother to her son, Terry James Turner, whose life reflected courage, creativity, compassion, excellence, and unwavering love. Terry was a United States Marine, a Marksman, a gifted computer builder, a top-tier Help Desk Consultant, an artist from childhood, a student producer and director, a personal fitness trainer, a talented cook, an animal lover, and a lifelong learner who even taught himself Japanese. Though naturally an introvert, his quiet spirit spoke loudly through the way he served, encouraged, and loved others. He embraced his fiancée and her daughter with genuine love, and no conversation ever ended without him saying, "I love you, Mom." This song is not about how his life ended. It is about how he lived, how he loved, and the eternal hope found in Jesus Christ. As we celebrate our nation's freedoms, may we also remember that for those who belong to Christ, our greatest citizenship is in heaven.
