Portal 2 - Normal Playthrough by Greg49 (Part 4)

Portal 2 is a game that had it's 15 year anniversary this year in April and this is the belated 15-anniversary playthrough of it (which is only belated because I had scheduling problems). This part of the game is purely eyeball-oriented (really). Not my favorite part but it's not a bad one. All Rights Belong To Valve Corporation. Previous Episode Recap: Chell (protagonist) was awoken by an eyeball she woke up when she was going to sleep, this eyeball was probably looking for revenge for waking him up during his slumber because it decided to destroy Chell's room, and it told her to find a device that looks and works as a gun but doesn't shoot bullets but rather something called "portals" (I don't really know what those are but okay), then Chell goes on an adventure to find it going through a bunch of non-portal-oriented-portal-testing test chambers, after finding out that the podium of the shotportal is empty the eyeball bot makes a statement for Chell to look if it fell off or something, and indeed it feel off... about 200 years ago, because it somehow ended up below the room in a very very overgrown room. Anyway Chell takes this fallen gun (which works perfectly) and uses it to pass some now portal-oriented-portal-testing test chambers, while she did that, the eyeball got really bored and found a shortcut and forced her to use it against her will, risking it's life in the process. After finding out that the route actually leads to GLaDOS' chamber Whea-... I mean, the eyeball made a statement that he wanted to turn on a light switch to search for some kind of a pod that's used for escaping but accidentally moved the elevator up and flipped all switches turning GLaDOS' repair system on, GLaDOS didn't really mind the eyeball because now she could take Chell on a tour of the facility (through the broken incinerator). GLaDOS gave Chell a dual-portal-making-device because she just found out that it's Chell's birthday and felt sorry for Chell that she had "no parents and was fat" (GLaDOS's words), this let Chell do more than just place one portal on a surface and pray another one will appear out of nowhere, now Chell could make the other one appear out of nowhere herself, and wherever she wanted. So she spend a long time catching up with GLaDOS about how great the outside is and how fun the old days where, while doing her stuff. But unfortunately the eyeball came back and told Chell to escape, destroy the neurotoxins and replace the turrets with some junk that was about to get burned. That really made GLaDOS upset, and sad, and confused, and many other emotions at once and to avoid exploding from the emotional overload she burst into a potato, because science proves that potatoes have a lower range of emotions than big eye-like robots. Unfortunately that also meant that the eyeball from before got the advantage in being the core that controls the facility, and it didn't really understand how unprepared it was for that kind of power so it just got mad at the potato for calling him mean names and destroyed an elevator that Chell was in, and throwing the potato in hoping Chell will fall ontop of the potato breaking it. Unfortunately for the eyeball bot, the potato was instead kidnapped by a lonely bird who wanted a friend, Chell thought that GLaDOS is going to be sold at a local McDonalds as fries so she hurried throughout the ancient test chambers from about 20000 years ago. Meeting a voice called "Cave Johnson" who had problems with his speaking later on. Chell learned what color blue and orange were with gels and then decided she wanted to get potato so she went to GLaDOS and shooed away the bird who was just happy to have a friend, then attached potato to her birthday gift, and moved onward. As they moved through the ancient tombs of Aperturesaur Sciencie, they exchanged vacation plans which they would accomplish after defeating the eyeball, unfortunately the voice man died soon after from his throat injury, which really motivated Chell and GLaDOS to go up to the surface. They tasted the moon gel one last time and summoned an elevator to go up and stop the eyeball from being bad at explaining chess to cubes with legs.
