Kakteen mit Musik 2: 'Mammilaria - Improvisationen'

This is the second episode of the new series 'Cacti with Music'. This time it is about the genre 'Mammilaria', combined with two exciting improvisations by Martin Hermann, recorders and Georg Lawall, guitars, sitar and percussion. The photos are taken from the collection of cacti by Hans Hermann (1926-2001). It was created between 1956 and 1987. It has not only collected and bred cacti, but also regularly photographed. The Mammilaria cacti is composed of innumerable species. In this compilation you see 24 different subspecies. All photos were photographed with an analogue Contaflex with a fixed 2,8 - 45mm Tessar-Lens by Carl Zeiss. For close-ups, Hans Hermann used preset lenses, also used by Carl Zeiss. In the summer of 2015, I digitized all 1500 cacti slides. So that more interested people can enjoy these beautiful photos, I decided to publish the many different cacti genera in photo shows here on YouTube.
